About YTS

Introduction of Yang Tsin Su

Yang Tsin Su (YTS) can be induced into the following three core points:

- The philosophical theory of YTS is based on "Lee", which is historically one of the major schools of Chinese philosophy that analyses reasons and studies the nature of every thing.

- The medical theory of YTS is based on the doctrine 'good health is the balance of body, energy and spirit (mind)' (Synergetic Medicine).

- The practice of YTS is a comprehensive synergy of a number of different trainings, from both eastern and western cultures.

The following three major features make YTS a revolutionary training program:

- Its art has been developed from scientific research (the theory of Synergetic Medicine in particular), philosophical study and professional experience ;

- Its art covers the training of body, energy and spirit (mind) ;

- Its art can be tailored to meet individual needs for various purposes, and is designed for all ages, genders and body conditions.

What is Yang Tsin Su?

Yang Translates as cultivation.

Tsin Translates as truth, essence, origin or genuine.

Su Translates as art.

Hence YTS is an art of self-cultivation.

Benefits

Want to lower your stress?

YTS is an extremely powerful tool, the soft flowing movements calm the body and mind, dispelling negative emotions and leaving you in a state of tranquillity. When the body is aligned and the movements synchronized the internal energy is able to flow unhindered, enabling the body to return to balance.

I want to increase my energy?

YTS is very effective because it increases the internal energy rather than depletes it like normal vigorous exercise. Many busy people survive on adrenaline, without strenuous exercise they feel exhausted. Adrenaline energy can be a false energy and will eventually lead to burn out. This lifestyle normally leads to bad sleep and weak digestion which in turn leads to illness. YTS balances the body making it more efficient at building its own energy.

I want to get in shape?

Exercises such as weights can create short, tight and dense muscles in a small amount of time, however should you stop, tight muscle can very easily sponge out into dense fat which can be extremely hard to lose. YTS's movements create long, slender, and flexible muscles, the no impact exercise means little chance of injury; this is important because the key to progress is consistency.

Haven't got time for everything?

YTS incorporates the best of everything; in one exercise you can stretch, tone, meditate, work the cardiovascular system and learn self defence. This type of exercise has been scientifically proven to be highly effective and requires minimal time.

The major advantage of practising YTS:

Modern life puts major restraints on our time. In order to consistently maintain all aspects of our health we must use our time as efficiently as possible. As YTS is an all inclusive art, there is no need to practice any other form of training.

The three styles and variations are:

Soft style "Woo Tsin Chuan" ( video )

- Specifically for the energy training, posture and stress reduction, all the movements are soft, flowing and graceful. Once one can move with total relaxation and coordination while maintaining alignment they can then cultivate the internal energy.

Erratic style "Shin Tsin Chuan" ( video )

- Specifically for flexibility and making the body light and nimble, contains a blend of slow and fast movements. The erratic style demonstrates a beautiful blend of grace and explosive power. Continued practice of this form will create a toned and agile body, a strong cardio system.

Hard style "Tsun Tsin Chuan" ( video )

- Specifically for strength and stamina building, consists of only fast and powerful movements to develop devastating martial skills. The hard form will be extremely effective for martial power and will achieve a very high level of fitness.

Stances

YTS also has three levels of stance, the higher stance would be more suitable for elderly, sick or injured people. The middle stance is more suitable for the serious novice or intermediate students; the lower stance is suitable for professionals.

Yang Tsin Su can be practiced throughout your entire life. The hard form is very suitable for the younger generation with their boundless energy and fast recovery. At a latter age you could move onto the erratic form for an effective yet less demanding workout. The soft form would be suitable for all ages, especially for the middle age plus, who would like to promote & sustain their health into latter life.

YTS Meditation -

The purpose of YTS meditation is to purify the mind, increase your energy and balance the body. Meditation is practised for many different reasons; some do it for spiritual purposes, stress relief, or health promotion. YTS meditation is based on the philosophy " Good health is the harmony of Body, Energy & Spirit (or Mind)"- Dr L. Lee.

YTS Meditation is a catalyst for long term self improvement and happiness.

The Founder (Sifu Lonnian Lee) -

The Founder Dr Lonnian Lee is from China who has trained in martial arts from the age of three.

He has trained in over ten styles of Tai Chi and many styles of Kung Fu. Through his relentless dedication Dr L. Lee was awarded the chance to train with many of the most renowned masters in China. Over his decades of training Dr L. Lee eventually developed his own style utilising all the best aspects from different styles & arts.
